Services
When you seek out counselling, it may be to work on a current issue or struggle in your life, to explore thoughts, emotions or behaviours that are holding you back from living life in the way you want, or to develop greater self-awareness and insight for growth and personal development.
I can work with you on a range of issues including
-
stress and anxiety,
-
low mood or depression
-
grief, loss and bereavement
-
low self-esteem
-
loss of confidence
-
developing self-awareness
-
life transitions
-
exploring a sense of purpose and meaning
-
chronic illness and life changing diagnoses and
-
family and relationship issues.
I also have a special interest in providing support to clients who have received a terminal diagnosis or are at the end of life, due to illness or failing health. Many people find it difficult to express their fears and concerns to family and loved ones at this difficult time. Having a supportive professional to talk to, to explore issues and concerns in confidence, can provide comfort and solace at this stage of life.
If the issue you are facing is not listed here, please get in contact and we can discuss if it is something I can support you with.
I take a pluralistic approach to therapy, meaning that I collaborate with you to discover what tools, techniques and counselling approaches work best for you to reach your goals. We can explore your strengths and resources, values, and future aims, and tailor therapy to suit your individual needs and preferences.
